St.Asaph Leisure Centre is linked to Glan Clwyd High School on the Upper Denbigh Road and is currently open to the public during evenings and at weekends and during the week daytime access is to limited facilities during school terms.
The Centre has excellent facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports with tennis courts and football pitches.
Indoors the Centre can provide for a wide range of sporting and leisure activities for all ages as well as offering the perfect venue for kiddies parties in an environment which can offer space and stimulating play equipment.
For those in search of fitness and relaxation, the Centre has an extremely well equipped fitness room and personal workout routines can be recommended to suit the needs and abilities of the individual.
The Centre is the focus for several local clubs and teams with five-a-side football, badminton, roller hockey, aerobics, circuit training, squash, Shukokai and Shotokan Karate classes, netball, tennis and table tennis being among the most popular. Perhaps you may wish to join the Pilates class on Mondays at 5 pm, tennis coaching from noon to 6 pm on Saturdays and weekly Bottoms, Legs & Tums and Flexistrength classes. The centre is also one of the Welsh Fencing Centres of Regional Excellence but this is not an open class.
