"Siarad Babi" Baby Talk In St Asaph
During the last few months Twf have run sessions where many parents and their babies have been attending "Siarad Babi" Baby Talk at St Asaph Library on a Wednesday morning. They have been practising their Welsh in a friendly and homely atmosphere, singing Welsh nursery rhymes and enjoying Welsh stories and various activities.
Twf is a project funded by The Welsh Assembly where field workers also work closely with Midwives and Health Visitors to raise awareness of the advantages of bilingualism in the family.
Jenny Jones a local parent from St Asaph who has been attending states "They have been great, I've really enjoyed attending, it has given us as a family more confidence to speak Welsh at home. I'm so proud to hear Danny singing Welsh nursery rhymes at home".
During one of the sessions Sam Tân and Sali Mali paid them a visit and their reaction was great, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. For more information regarding Twf and raising children bilingually, contact Manon Pierce, Twf Field Officer on 07805303959.

Keep An Eye On Garden Wildlife
Denbighshire's Biodiversity team is calling for your help in monitoring garden wildlife in the county.
The Council, working in partnership with Conwy and Flintshire Councils, Snowdonia National Park, the Countryside Council for Wales and the North Wales Local Records Centre, have produced a recording postcard to encourage people to send in records of the wildlife visiting their gardens.
Gardens cover 100,000 acres in Wales amounting to a huge potential resource and they can provide a valuable sanctuary or refuelling station for many different types of wildlife including a number of nationally declining species such as great crested newts, bats, waxcap fungi and hedgehogs.
You can pick up the recording postcards at the library or by contacting Kate Burgess, Biodiversity Officer, on 01824 708234 or at biodiversity@denbighshire.gov.uk. Advice and guidance can also be given on how to encourage wildlife to your garden.
